Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Grey/Teal

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 holds a nostalgic value to a lot of sneakerheads and baseball fans. There was a time when Ken Griffey, Jr. was on pace to be the greatest player ever. A series of injuries would limit his potential, but he nonetheless remains a legend, as do his signature shoes. Now that he’s back with the Seattle Mariners, it’s only appropriate that we see another colorway done in the team’s colors.

Grey is used for the majority, mixing leather throughout the upper with nubuck on the mudguard and toe. Teal is also used on all the Swooshes and the lace loops. A white midsole and black outsole complete the colorway. No word on when these will arrive stateside, but they are currently available at kinstor.

Days after our run-down of the best Bred Jordans, Nike gives us another classic sneaker in the same classic colorway. These Blazers keep things simple, using the proven combination.

Black suede makes up the entire upper here, while another matte finish material helps the black Swoosh pop off the same colored background. The lower mudguard, which wraps around the entire bottom of the uppers, is also black. The first you noticed about these was definitely the sport red vulcanized sole, which matches the liner.

Nike Air Max 90 Metallic Gold

This metallic gold make-up of the Nike Air Max 90 has appeared for sale on Osneaker. According to Osneaker, they are an international Friends and Family release. Others also speculate that these 90s might be a celebratory 20th anniversary colorway for the shoe. Osneaker states that the golf foil cloaking the silhouette is quite sensitive. This is a nuisance, however, it makes these kicks analogous to pure gold in that they sacrifice durability for a premium luster.
