Nike Air Max 90 Metallic Gold

This metallic gold make-up of the Nike Air Max 90 has appeared for sale on Osneaker. According to Osneaker, they are an international Friends and Family release. Others also speculate that these 90s might be a celebratory 20th anniversary colorway for the shoe. Osneaker states that the golf foil cloaking the silhouette is quite sensitive. This is a nuisance, however, it makes these kicks analogous to pure gold in that they sacrifice durability for a premium luster.

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by GDP

GDP took a cue from Prince for his Bespoke Air Force 1, hitting up the design studio at 21 Mercer for multiple ways to rain purple on his Nikes. We see a lot of AF1s get churned out in a variety of styles, but right off the back, anyone who is a fan of purple will recognize these as a very clean take on what is possible with the Bespoke program.

Canvas composes the majority of these, as it’s used along the laces and on the toe box and topside of the toe. The mid-panel that backs up the white Swoosh is made with a slightly darker shade of purple in nubuck, while the suede on the heel portion is almost lavender. 3M completes the look, appearing on the tongue and heel portions.

Click here for more pics. Are these a solid example of the cleaner ways to do up Bespokes?

Bespoke Nike Air Force 1

21 Mercer Street always churns out some crazy AF1’s, and fresh from production is this pair, arriving today at Nike’s New York design studio.

The customer chose to go with two tones of brown denim for the majority of the shoes, offset with a teal and brown heel. The bright yellow on the midsole and laces really jumps off the brown base, breaking up but also complimenting the earth tones well. The customer was able to put together some very clean, and definitely one-of-a-kind AF1’s here, embracing all that there is to offer at 21 Mercer.

Click here for more pics, and to tell us what you like about these, and what you would change.

Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Eric Villatoro

Nike fan Eric Villatoro worked the with folks at 21 Mercer to design this very purple Bespoke Air Force 1, mixing a handful of the numerous offered materials for a very eccentric look. From suede to croc, this Bespoke has it all.

It’s a good thing that Eric mixed his materials so much, as we saw another purple Bespoke in purple not too long ago. These change the look pretty dramatically though, as the deep purple croc on the forefoot area contrasts great against the suede used on the remainder. The real contrast comes in the white and purple Safar print used on both the Swoosh and tongue. A clear MX sole with red air bubble finished these off nicely. What would your Bespoke look like?

DC Life Sector 7 WT & Admiral Hi WT

DC has deep roots in the skate and alternative sports community, thanks to their history of creating very skateable products. Having daredevils like Travis Pastrana pull stunts in your name doesn’t hurt either. With the Life label, DC’s appeal has spread to the masses, thanks in part to the Sector 7 and Admiral Hi silhouettes.

This most recent release of each design takes inspiration from the street (literally) by using a cement colorway. The low-top Sector 7 maintains a wingtip look with perforation and small accents. The Admiral Hi uses matching grey mesh near the ankle to break up the material monotony. Both pairs are grey suede, with accents from DC’s “Pill” pattern. Both are available now online.

Nike Foamposite One Copper

Ushered in by Wale, the Nike Foamposite One in the illustrious Copper colorway has been on sneakerhead’s radar for the last few weeks, and now they can be in their collection too. The official release dated isn’t slated until 2010, but if the size is right and the copper foams fit like Cinderella’s Slipper, you could be the first in your zip code sporting them. Worth a look just for clear pics for the kicks

Martin Margiela Flocking Treatment Shoe

How to Dress Like Jay-Z In The “Empire State of Mind” Video

He may still refer to himself as Young Hov, but the reality of the situation is: Shawn Carter’s all grown up. And as Jay’s gotten older, so too has his style of dress. If you couldn’t tell by his rhymes, just take a look at him—we don’t even think he wears Rocawear anymore, and he’s obviously given all his du-rags to Memph Bleek.

In the visual for his latest single from Blueprint 3, “Empire State of Mind,”, rap’s Frank Sinatra trades in the baggy jeans for some clean wool trousers, and goes with a navy-inspired duffle coat instead of North Face snorkel. Real classy. Read on to watch the video and learn how to get the look. But hurry before he’s on the next one…

Nike Auto Force 180 Teal/Black

The Auto Force 180 has been done up in some very simple colorways, from the blue and orange Knocks-inspired, and the slightly more complex Olympic-inspired colorway that just released. Next up are these as a House of Hoops exclusive, also borrowing inspiration from one of greatest ever players’ colorways, hitting us with a teal and black combination.

We refer to David Robinson and his Air Force 180 Pump Hi, which featured a very similar colorway. For these Auto Force 180s, a white leather upper is the base, while teal accents are used for loops near the laces. The sole is vulcanized and black, while the major attention-grabber is the teal splatter design stemming from the heel. A black patent leather is used across the top, finishing the colorway.

Nike Dynasty High New Arrival

The last couple sets of Nike Dynasty Highs we’ve seen have had some pretty wild colorways, like these two bright pairs. But breaking that trend are these grey high-tops, fresh in at 21 Mercer.

There isn’t too much to these, as the entirety of the upper is made up of grey leather. The strap is made with matching grey woven material though, and a grey “Nike” appears near the ankle. On the heel of these old school sneakers, originally released in ‘86, is an orange Swoosh tab, much like we’d see on a Nike tee. The outsole is done in a matching grey outsole and sits under a white midsole

Vans Chukka Boot Vapor Blue

Many of you have been pleased with the upcoming fall/winter releases from Vans including the Del Barco LX and the Switchback. In addition, Vans has just unleashed a new colorway of the Chukka Boot.

This particular Chukka Boot is obviously different from the previous pairs seeing that it does not contain any shades of brown, olive green or black (the usual fall/winter colors). Instead, this Chukka Boot features a 100% vapor blue base combined with a vulcanized rubber sole and shoelaces of the same color. It is now available at Vans’s online store for $60.

New Balance H574J

The New Balance 574 has been a canvas for a number of styles this year. Specifically, we have spotted the Lux edition and the Clips Collection just to name a couple. Now, New Balance will unleash two new colorways of the New Balance 574 hybrid boot.

These highly-designed New Balance 574 hybrid boots contain multiple textures including mesh, premium leather and suede. As for the colorway, both pairs were inspired by outdoor trail jackets. one owns a blue/black-pink color scheme, while the other pair is dressed up in a yellow/blue/grey-black color scheme. Both pairs are also finished with a speckled midsole and trail shoelaces. Available later this month at select New Balance retailers. Meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Deluxe x Vans Chukka Boot

This past summer, we spotted the first collaboration ever processed on the Chukka Boot between Realtree, Bodega and Vans. The majority of you who commented like the makeup design. For its second joint effort on the Chukka Boot, Vans hooked up with Japanese brand Deluxe for a nice design.

First off, this is second collaboration between both sides (last year they created a Sk8-Hi together). It possesses a unique pairing of navy leather (side panels) and suede (toe area, heel panel) with brown leather accents on the heel. To finish it off, this Chukka Boot is complimented with a white vulcanized rubber sole. What are your thoughts on this joint effort?
